Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company, a dynamic and growing organization looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a key role in driving business growth and expanding into new markets. The BDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and setting up opportunities for the sales team, with a particular focus on engaging enterprise brands and agencies. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by directly contributing to the company’s expansion and success.

Responsibilities

 
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate and qualify new business leads.
  • Research and identify prospective clients, with a strategic focus on enterprise brands and agencies.
  • Engage decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and business challenges.
  • Clearly communicate the company’s unique value proposition to potential clients.
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of outreach and lead progression within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving market needs.
  • Use data and feedback to innovate and iterate on sales strategies for continual improvement.
 

Requirements

 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar sales-related role (experience in media, creative industries, or SaaS is a strong asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally and effectively.
  • Strong networking skills and a collaborative approach to developing new business relationships.
  • Experience with CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and sales engagement tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze and understand client industries and their business needs.
  • Comfortable with creative problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and innovating sales tactics.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A passion for creativity, digital media, or visual content is considered an asset.
