They are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their talented team in Calgary. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across both front-end and back-end development, driving innovative solutions for live event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and designers to create new features and design engaging user interfaces.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools quickly to stay on the cutting edge of development.
- Assist with production deployments and provide troubleshooting and support post-launch.
- Participate in daily standups, code reviews, and testing sessions to ensure code quality and smooth feature rollouts.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code that can scale with future development.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Engineering or Computer Science is an asset.
- Roughly 3 years of experience working in a technology or software development environment.
- Experience with back-end technologies, such as Python, Django, or similar frameworks (Flask, Rails, Node.js, Go).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Fabric, Chef).
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as AngularJS or similar technologies (Backbone, Ember, Polymer).
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#).
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong testing and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and also excel independently.
- Analytical mindset, with problem-solving skills to navigate fast-paced environments.
- Initiative and drive to contribute creatively and make impactful contributions to the team.
