Job Description



This company is looking for a Product Designer to help craft a digital banking experience that is intuitive, inclusive, and deeply resonant with Hispanic communities. As the second designer on the team, this person will have a meaningful impact on the end-to-end user journey, from foundational app interfaces to the visual expression of the brand across product and marketing.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in both UX and visual design, thrives in early-stage environments, and is energized by designing for a multicultural audience. Fluency in Spanish is essential to ensure an authentic, effective user experience.
 

Responsibilities

 
  • Lead design across core parts of the mobile app, delivering wireframes, prototypes, final UI, and interaction patterns.
  • Contribute to growth design efforts, creating assets for product launches, landing pages, and in-app graphics.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and research to build and document design systems and processes.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design choices and improve the user experience.
  • Translate product requirements into inclusive designs guided by user insights and product principles.
  • Write and maintain UX copy in both Spanish and English that reflects the company’s voice and values.
  • Partner across functions to ensure smooth handoffs, high-quality implementation, and strong visual consistency.
 

Requirements

 
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally at a fintech or consumer-facing startup.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
  • Strong portfolio that showcases both interaction and visual design skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Proficient with Figma and experienced in contributing to design systems.
  • Comfortable working across both product and marketing design projects.
  • Bonus: background in brand or growth design.
