Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for web applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
- Use tools like Cypress to conduct end-to-end testing for web applications.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
- Perform regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing to ensure system integrity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and design testing strategies.
- Analyze testing results and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Stay current with emerging QA tools and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, especially TypeScript and Python.
- Understanding of web development technologies, including Node.js and React.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management software.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent experience will be considered.
