Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company. They are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the development and maintenance of mobile applications across iOS and Android using Expo and React Native. Responsibilities

 
  • Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
  • Implement intuitive and accessible user interfaces in collaboration with design and product teams.
  • Manage the deployment process using EAS for the App Store and Google Play, including handling OTA updates and provisioning profiles.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs to ensure secure and seamless user experiences.
  • Monitor, test, and optimize app performance, including the use of tools like Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct manual and automated testing across devices and networks.
  • Collaborate across product, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure consistent system connectivity and deployment standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, share technical documentation, and mentor fellow developers.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions and maintain app competitiveness.
 

Requirements

 
  • Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API integration and mobile system architecture.
  • Familiarity with tools like Firebase Crashlytics, mobile testing frameworks, and Git.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and contributing to technical decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clear, empathetic communication style.
  • Additional mobile certifications (e.g., Android Developer, Apple Developer) are considered a plus.
