They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to elevate their product development practice through empathy-driven design and insight-led decision making. The Senior Product Designer will collaborate closely with product management, UX research, engineering, data, and other business stakeholders to create impactful solutions that are grounded in user needs and support the company’s mission of accessible healthcare for all.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, clinical, support, pharmacy, and operations—to align business objectives with exceptional user experiences.
- Lead discovery initiatives by designing and conducting usability tests, experiments, and patient interviews, ensuring design solutions are informed by real user insights.
- Apply design theory and systems thinking to develop thoughtful, evidence-based solutions that address both user and business challenges.
- Serve as a design lead within the product triad, working alongside product managers and engineers to deliver user-centered, feasible solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of design excellence by championing design thinking, validating assumptions, and iterating on solutions to deliver high-quality results.
- Advocate for inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring all product solutions serve diverse populations and underserved communities.
- Drive projects independently or as the sole designer, collaborating effectively with partners across the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of end-to-end professional product design experience, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong foundation in user-centric product design, information architecture, usability, interface design, design systems, heuristics, usability testing, and user research.
- Proven experience leading design projects in collaboration with product management, UX research, engineering, and other business teams.
- Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Whimsical, Maze, or similar platforms.
- Experience in organizations that are adaptable, resourceful, and focused on rapid impact.
- Commitment to advancing inclusivity and accessibility in digital product design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
