Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Talent & Culture Coordinator to join their Business Operations team. Reporting to the VP People & Business Operations, this role supports a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance through essential HR and operations coordination. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, values inclusivity, and is eager to contribute to meaningful employee experiences.
 

Responsibilities

 
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process: post job openings, source candidates, conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, respond to applicant inquiries, complete reference checks, and support hiring panels.
  • Manage onboarding logistics: prepare welcome packages, organize onboarding schedules, handle IT and Finance requests, and facilitate access and equipment needs.
  • Contribute to employer branding through website updates, public-facing collateral, and handbook maintenance.
  • Maintain and organize internal policies, assist with contract updates, and ensure accurate documentation across HRIS and Google Drive.
  • Support compensation practices, including annual salary benchmarking and group benefits administration.
  • Coordinate employee programs such as education & wellness allowances, vacation policy, and offboarding procedures.
  • Oversee time-off tracking, statutory holiday coordination, and holiday closure communications.
  • Plan and execute team-building and recognition initiatives, including DEIB-focused activities, milestone celebrations, and member events.
  • Administer and analyze employee feedback channels, including surveys and data reporting.
  • Assist with calendar coordination, company-wide event scheduling, governance activities, and vendor relations.
  • Support internal communications and deliver research insights to inform employee engagement and operational strategies.
 

Requirements

 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in human resources, communications, operations, administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, Google Suite, Asana, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis, with the ability to develop and present findings effectively.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and values honest, constructive feedback.
