Job Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of a wealth management technology company that builds a platform tailored specifically for family offices. The company is an early stage, fast growing player in the fintech and wealth management space, offering secure, centralized tools that help families consolidate financial data and manage, grow, and protect their assets. They are looking for a Client Onboarding Specialist to join their Client Success team, delivering a white glove onboarding experience and proactive support that sets new clients up for long term success on the platform. This is a full time role based out of Vancouver, BC, with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an outstanding customer experience to a portfolio of clients throughout their onboarding journey
  • Implement onboarding plans that guide clients toward achieving their goals and realizing value quickly
  • Enter, migrate, and validate client financial data within the platform, ensuring accuracy at every step
  • Reconcile client data sets against source documents, identifying and resolving discrepancies before they become client facing issues
  • Perform quality checks on financial data to catch errors, inconsistencies, or gaps
  • Work directly with clients to gather and clarify financial information needed to complete their setup
  • Build a working understanding of client accounts to flag data related risks early
  • Collaborate with Product and Support teams to troubleshoot data issues and escalate where needed
  • Document data entry and reconciliation processes to support internal playbooks as the team scales

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or another numbers focused role
  • A problem solving mindset with a passion for managing and exceeding customer expectations
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with numbers
  • Highly organized, data driven, and accountable in your approach to work
  • Empathetic with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • A self starter who can navigate and execute in fast paced environments
  • Eager to learn and grow within an onboarding or accounting adjacent career path
  • It is considered an asset if you have industry experience in accounting, finance, wealth management, or financial services, with an understanding of the domain specific challenges and client expectations that come with it.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation reflecting your experience and the value you bring to the team
  • Full time employment with remote flexibility, giving you the freedom to work from where you do your best work
  • The opportunity to play a direct role in shaping how families manage and safeguard significant wealth, with your work having a visible, tangible impact on client trust and long term retention from day one
  • A chance to grow your career at an early stage company where your contributions to onboarding and data processes will directly influence how the team scales as it grows
