Job Description



Big 4 consulting firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join their AI Foundry team, contributing to innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that drive business transformation. In this role, you'll work across a variety of technologies—from generative AI models to cloud-native full-stack applications—to build intelligent systems that enable automation and enhance decision-making. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced developer who thrives on solving complex challenges through collaboration, experimentation, and cutting-edge technology.

This is a hybrid role (3 days in office) in Canada and the successful candidate must be located in proximity to one of the firm's offices. 
 

Responsibilities

 
  • Design and develop AI-powered applications and services using ASP.NET, Python FastAPI, Angular, React, and Next.js.
  • Build scalable generative AI plugins and microservices leveraging OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Python, Docker, and Azure Functions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with business specifications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to collect, clarify, and implement functional requirements.
  • Lead intermediate developer teams, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
  • Assess emerging technology solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and uphold high standards in design and delivery practices.
 

Requirements

 
  • Strong experience as a full-stack developer or AI/ML Engineer with a focus on GenAI technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, ASP.NET, Azure Functions, Angular, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs such as GPT-4, ChatGPT, and frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
  • Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search), and OpenAI integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, ideally with certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and agile development practices.
  • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Background in UX principles, user stories, and prototyping workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to inclusive teamwork.
