This company is seeking a Senior Front End / Mobile Engineer to help build an inclusive digital banking experience tailored for immigrant communities, starting with Hispanic users. This role centers on designing and implementing high-impact user interfaces that are accessible, intuitive, and scalable. The ideal candidate is excited to contribute to a mission-driven product and is passionate about delivering technology that enhances financial access and mobility.

Responsibilities

 
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring new mobile features to life using React Native, Typescript, and GraphQL.
  • Implement and maintain a robust, scalable component library and design system that enables fast and consistent feature development.
  • Develop and uphold frontend testing and observability practices to ensure a stable, high-quality user experience.
  • Contribute to defining software architecture and setting development standards for frontend and mobile.
  • Take part in product planning and execution, working alongside leadership to guide short- and long-term engineering efforts.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive development culture, especially in cross-functional settings.
 

Requirements

 
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend or mobile.
  • 3+ years of experience working with React or React Native in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks and UI/UX principles.
  • Skilled in maintaining mobile design systems and component libraries.
  • Proven ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus: Experience developing native iOS or Android applications.
