Toast is a tech-enabled recruitment firm and one of Canada's largest communities for women in tech. We're launching the Toast Talent Marketplace, a platform built so companies can discover women in engineering directly based on skills, experience, and salary expectations.
This is a general posting. We're building our software development talent pool ahead of upcoming roles across frontend, backend, full stack, mobile, DevOps, platform, and engineering leadership. If you're a woman writing code or leading people who do, we want your profile in the marketplace.

Salary expectations
These ranges reflect national market data across major Canadian tech hubs based on the 2025 Randstad Salary Guide. Actual compensation varies by location, experience, skills, and company. Major metros like Toronto and Vancouver typically sit at the higher end, while smaller markets may be lower. When you create your Toast Talent Portal profile, you'll set your own salary expectations so companies can match you to roles that align with what you're looking for.
- Junior (Developer): $65K - $90K
- Intermediate (Developer II/Senior): $90K - $125K
- Senior (Staff/Principal): $125K - $165K
- Exec (EM/Director/VP): $160K - $220K+

How it works

- You'll receive an email with a link to create your Toast Talent Portal account
- Creating your portal account is required. Your application is only complete once your profile is live in the portal. No portal profile means hiring companies can't find you.
