Job Description



Toast is recruiting on behalf of a venture-backed, mission-driven company operating in the sustainable packaging technology space. The company serves large institutions such as universities and hospitals, replacing single-use packaging with traceable, reusable container systems that help clients save six figures annually. They are a lean, female-founded team based in Vancouver focused on scaling one of the most practical and proven solutions to the single-use plastic crisis across North America. This is a Sales Executive role where you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building a pipeline, and closing new business with institutional clients.
 

Responsibilities

 
  • Identify and target potential clients through research, outreach, and networking
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations
  • Close new business to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers throughout the sales process
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Work closely with marketing to align on lead generation strategies and partner with customer support to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on client insights
  • Track sales activities and outcomes using CRM tools and report on performance and revenue forecasts
  • Leverage data to refine sales strategies and optimize results
 

Requirements

 
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a sales or account executive role, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with at least one day per week in the Downtown Vancouver office

4. Client Submission

After crafting your unbiased profile, we submit it to our trusted clients. We work closely with these clients to ensure they understand the value you bring. Throughout their interview process, we remain by your side, providing support and guidance.
