Job Description



Toast is recruiting on behalf of a venture-backed, mission-driven company operating in the sustainable packaging technology space. The company has grown from a grassroots initiative into an enterprise-level platform now serving institutions across North America, and is made up of a lean, high-performing team laser-focused on eliminating single-use waste at scale. This is an Account Manager role where you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, acting as a strategic partner to drive adoption, satisfaction, and growth across the platform.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts and build strong, long-term relationships
  • Lead clients through onboarding and ensure a smooth transition onto the platform
  • Educate clients on platform features and best practices, and provide ongoing training to maximize adoption
  • Identify upsell and account expansion opportunities and partner with the sales team on renewals and contract extensions
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies tailored to individual client needs
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, sharing feedback with product and marketing teams to influence platform improvements
  • Monitor account health metrics, identify risks early, and prepare performance reports 
  • Travel 3 to 5 days per month across North America to support clients on the ground ​​​​​​


Requirements

 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related role, preferably within a SaaS or tech-enabled business
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, empathy, and strategic thinking
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and customer success platforms

4. Client Submission

After crafting your unbiased profile, we submit it to our trusted clients. We work closely with these clients to ensure they understand the value you bring. Throughout their interview process, we remain by your side, providing support and guidance.
