Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Senior Azure AI Solution Architect to join their Products & Technology organization. Reporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture, this role is instrumental in shaping innovative, data-driven platforms and AI-powered solutions that support new business models in a rapidly evolving digital market.

The Senior Azure AI Solution Architect will play a key leadership role in designing scalable, cloud-first architectures and guiding the development of enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of Azure-based application and infrastructure architectures
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on tools, frameworks, and platforms to development teams
• Oversee the development and deployment of AI solutions leveraging Azure AI technologies
• Design scalable AI assets that can be utilized through low- and no-code platforms, including Copilot Studio
• Support enterprise architecture processes and collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects to assess and refine technology solutions
• Shape and deliver digital products that meet client expectations and business objectives
• Participate in business development initiatives, identifying and researching opportunities with new and existing clients
• Supervise and support vendor development teams
• Conduct periodic code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to standards
• Contribute to agile product delivery processes and promote operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-level, cloud-first solutions
• Deep proficiency with Microsoft Azure services and tools, including Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI technologies such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Databricks
• Experience with AI development frameworks and deploying AI solutions within Azure environments
• Strong understanding of application design and integration with Azure infrastructure
• Knowledge of service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures
• Experience working within agile teams and modern product delivery environments
• Azure Solutions Architect and/or Azure Developer certifications preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Professional engineering licensure is not required for this role
