The firm is scaling its AI and advanced analytics practice in Western Canada and is looking for a senior leader to guide client engagements, grow the business, and shape how the practice delivers AI solutions at scale. This is a high visibility role for someone who wants to combine hands on delivery leadership with real influence over where the practice goes next.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent client engagements, owning delivery quality, commercial performance, risk, and client satisfaction
  • Direct full lifecycle AI programs from use case identification and prioritization through model development, deployment, and value realization
  • Establish and operate AI governance frameworks for clients, including responsible AI, model risk management, data governance, and operating model design
  • Build the operational backbone of client AI programs, including intake, prioritization, delivery cadences, MLOps, and performance measurement
  • Provide direction to data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers as they design, build, and deploy production AI and ML solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, shaping AI strategy and translating it into actionable roadmaps
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships across business, technology, and risk functions, aligning competing priorities and driving outcomes
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non technical audiences with clarity and credibility
  • Contribute to the practice's commercial agenda by identifying and qualifying opportunities, leading proposals and RFP responses, and shaping solution offerings
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying adjacent value and bringing the right capabilities to the table
  • Contribute to thought leadership, points of view, and go to market assets that strengthen the practice's market position
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers, consultants, and technical specialists across engagements
  • Provide performance feedback, mentorship, and career sponsorship as part of a strong coaching culture
  • Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and capability building within the practice

Requirements

  • Experience identifying, prioritizing, and delivering AI and advanced analytics use cases end to end
  • Experience building and running AI programs, including governance and strategy or operations components
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, to define business outcomes from AI initiatives
  • Strong client facing and delivery experience, working across both business and technical teams
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering AI and analytics solutions in real environments
  • Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI use cases and drive execution
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams to implement and deploy solutions
  • Master's degree required, for example Computer Science, MBA, or a related field
  • Consulting experience at a boutique or large firm will stand out
  • A technical background is nice to have but not required
  • Industry exposure to utilities, energy, or public sector is considered an asset

Benefits

  • Salary range of $170,000 to $210,000 based on skills, experience, and location, plus eligibility for variable incentive pay tied to individual and firm wide performance
  • Opportunity to lead and shape a growing AI practice in Western Canada, with direct influence over governance frameworks and delivery models used across major enterprise and public sector clients
  • A platform to build a visible track record in AI strategy and delivery, working directly with C-suite stakeholders on initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Comprehensive total rewards package including inclusive benefits and flexibility programs designed to support long term career growth
